Hydrangea - Big Leaf 'Abracadabra Star' - 3 Gal.

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Abracadabra Star'

With the same haunting velvet, black stems and upright stature as Abracadabra Orb, Abracadabra Star will be just as striking and magical in your garden with a totally different flower form than its close realtive. Rather than a mophead flower, Abracadabra Star features a stunning lace cap flower that starts as a flattened circle of buds atop each stem that open in July to big, funky flowers that start in shades of pink and white before maturing to a stunning deep pink as the flowers age. In the acid soils of our part of the country the flowers will be blue instead of pink but with its distinctive form and deep, dark, velvety stems, any flower color will look striking! Plant Abracadabra Star in full sun or partial shade get ready for this star to shine.
