Dogwood Shrub - 3 Gal.

$49.99

Cornus amomum

An excellent shrubby dogwood form that is one of the best bird attracting plants in the landscape. Very hardy and spreading in nature, this selection tolerates poor, wet soils and works well in group plantings. Flat-topped heads of white flowers appear in June, followed by porcelain-blue-colored fruit that is a bird delicacy.

Seasonal Note: Many deciduous plants have started to go dormant for the season. You may experience yellow, spotted and dropping leaves. This is completely normal at this point in the season. Reach out if you have any questions!

Zone: 4 - 8

Mature Size: 6 - 10 ft High x 6 - 10 ft Wide

Current Size Est.: 24-36''

Growing Tips

Silky Dogwood does particularly well in moist areas, so would be a great addition to your yard for those soggy areas that are difficult to find good plantings for. Prefers partial shade but will do well in sunnier spots as well.

Sun Exposure: Full Sun, Partial Shade, Partial Sun
